Highlands and Wollondilly Clubs Share $50,000 in Grants
Six local sporting organisations across the Southern Highlands and Wollondilly have secured a combined $50,000 in the latest round of the NSW Government’s Local Sport Grant Program.

Six local sporting organisations across the Southern Highlands and Wollondilly have secured a combined $50,000 in the latest round of the NSW Government’s Local Sport Grant Program.
Among the successful recipients, Highlands Golf Club received the largest allocation of $20,000, while Southern Highlands Water Polo secured $13,900.
Other successful clubs include:
Wollondilly Knights Senior AFC – $5,000
Wollondilly Basketball Association – $4,100
Loop Line Pony Club – $4,000
Mittagong Cricket Club – $3,000
Member for Wollondilly Judy Hannan said the funding would support local clubs and volunteers.
“Sport plays a vital role in bringing communities together and supporting health and wellbeing,” she said.
“Behind every local club is a team of volunteers, families, players and officials who give their time to keep community sport going.”
