The Martini Henrys live at The Bundanoon Hotel
Bowral duo The Martini Henrys have a busy weekend of gigs planned, with a performance at the Bundanoon Hotel tonight from 6:30pm, the Mittagong RSL Club on Saturday night from 8pm and Collegians Figtree on Sunday from 3pm.
Described as ‘your premier alternative acoustic duo’, the Martini Henrys have been performing in local pubs, clubs and hotels since 2017, and have a wide range of music they perform, with everything from Nirvana to Creedence Clearwater Revival to modern covers hits from such bands as Ed Sheeran and Twenty One Pilots.
So, get along to either the Bundanoon Hotel or Mittagong RSL Club this weekend to see the boys perform.

Mittagong Markets
Following the previous rain cancellation, the Mittagong Markets are on this Saturday morning from 8am through until 2pm at their new location in the grounds of Mittagong Library on the corner of Queen and Albert Sts.
The markets are traditionally held on the 3rd and 5th Saturdays of every month.
They supply all your gardening, local produce and artisanal goods needs.

Summer Sunday Sessions at Dawning Day Winery, Exeter
Held on the first Sunday of every month, the Summer Sunday Sessions at Dawning Day Winery in Exeter are popular.
The cellar door is open all day from 11am – 5:30pm, with pizzas cooked by Black Hen Kitchen from 11am – 3pm, and live music from 1pm – 4pm.
Attendance is free, just enjoy tasting wine and eating pizzas and gyros.

Live Music at the Tahmoor Inn
The Tahmoor Inn is playing host to live music from talented performers again this weekend.
Tonight (Friday) from 6-9pm, Keith Armitage will be performing, and then tomorrow night between 8pm and 11pm, Mark Broughton will also perform.
So come along and enjoy some live music from these two gentlemen as well as delicious food from the hotel’s bistro and drinks from their bar.
The Friday Meat Raffle is also drawn from 5pm, and Joker Poker from 6pm, with proceeds from both going towards supporting Tahmoor Cricket Club.
Friday night is also pizza night at the Tahmoor Inn and select from a tasty selection of pizzas for only $17.

NSW Club Regional Barefoot Waterski Championship & Goulburn Barefoot Waterski Club Annual Competition
To be held on the Wollondilly River this weekend, the NSW Club Regional Barefoot Waterski Championship and Goulburn Barefoot Waterski Club Annual Competition will attract barefoot waterskiers from all over the state, and competition kicks off from lunchtime today (Friday).
The main events will run all day Saturday with a Feature Jump Event from 11am on Saturday, with a BBQ also available from 6:30am.
The event will be held on the Copford Reach stretch of the Wollondilly River, with entry and parking on Pursehouse Place, Goulburn.
Spectators are welcome free, with entry cost for skiers to be confirmed.

Cuppa & Craft for Charity, Bungonia Village Hall
This Saturday from 10am to 4pm, the Cuppa & Craft for Charity event will be held at the Bungonia Hall.
The event was created so that like-minded people could come together over a cuppa, chat, and craft their own wonderful creations, whether it be knitting, crocheting, weaving, sewing, applique, or long stitch.
Cost is only $5 per person and bring your own refreshments and snacks. Tea and coffee will also be provided.
Either locals or those just ‘passing through’ are more than welcome to join in and at the same time support local charities throughout the Southern Tablelands.

Hewitt Memorial Race Day, Goulburn Paceway
A momentous day on the Goulburn harness racing calendar, the Hewitt Memorial Race Day pays tribute to former local harness racing trainers Thomas and Angela Hewitt, who solidified the reputation of harness racing in both the Goulburn and Crookwell areas.
The race meet has also evolved into a community event which memorialises the contribution of Robert Allport and Aubrey Frost, who were involved with harness racing in Crookwell. It is also a fundraiser for the Crookwell Community Trust charity.
The racing program is as follows:
- $14,790 Tom & Angela Hewitt Memorial 2240 metres for NR class (up to 70
horses);
- $14,790 Walla Walla Stakes 2240 metres NR class (up to 120 horses);
- $9,996 Aub Frost Memorial Three-Year-Old pace 1710 metres No NR class; and
- $9,996 all other races.

James Southwell Solo at Yazzbar
Tonight from 7pm- 10pm at Yazzbar musician James Southwell Solo will be performing for the crowd.
Southwell’s music is described as a ‘high energy mix of Blues, rock and funk that will leave you wanting more.’

The Choral (encore) at Liberty Theatre, Yass
It’s 1916, and the Choral Society in the Yorkshire town of Ramsden has lost most of its men to the army on the Western Front.
The movie, starring Ralph Fiennes, Alun Armstrong and a whole array of other English actors starts at 2:00pm.
‘The Choral’ is hosted by local group Friends of the Liberty Theatre, which is located at 173 Comur St, Yass.
