FRIDAY JULY 10
NAIDOC Week Workshop - Connecting with Weave
Join local Aboriginal woman Aunty Joyce in creating small woven wearables.
Share in Joyce’s knowledge and experience as you learn to weave small wearables.
This special workshop is recommended for young people aged 12 plus, but under 12s with some weaving experience or parents and carers are welcome to join.
This event will run at Ngununggula Regional Gallery in East Bowral from 10am – 12pm.

SATURDAY JULY 11
Robertson Winterfest
It seems Robertson will be the place to be this weekend, with the Robertson Winterfest festival on this Saturday from 11am – 4pm.
There will be market stalls, a live band pumping out tunes from a flatbed truck, as well as a range of free activities for kids.
The little ones will be delighted by a special appearance from Elsa from ‘Frozen’, complete with gifts and photo opportunities.
Entry is free — so bring a picnic rug, pick up something delicious for lunch, and settle in for a relaxed afternoon in the Highlands.
Most of the festival will centre around the Pink Potato/Pig and local restaurant The Hive.

Retford Park Open Garden
Every Sunday from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, National Trust property Retford Park is hosting their Open Garden.
Explore the stunning grounds of the estate which surrounds the former home of James Fairfax AC.
Children will have fun on a self-led art trail, while dogs on leash are welcome in the dog-friendly gardens.
If you are interested in a guided house tour, book ahead to ensure you don’t miss out on hearing the fascinating stories of James Fairfax’s impressive art and furniture collection.
The White Cottage Gallery also houses the beautiful National Trust shop with gift ideas for all occasions, and an art gallery space with a changing program of temporary exhibitions and artworks for sale.
Retford Park House is also available to visit by guided tour only, at specific times each day.
Garden tour cost for Adults is $17; Concession – $15; Group Bookings of 20+ people – $15 per person; Children Under 5yrs – free and a Family is $49 (2 adults and up to 4 children, or 1 adult with 3 children); and National Trust members – free.

A Minecraft Movie at the Wollondilly Library
Enjoy a free family screening of the Minecraft movie at Wollondilly Library this afternoon from 12:30pm – 3:30pm.
Families are invited to bring their own snacks, with the movie commencing from 1pm.
(Note: Movie recommended for viewers over 9 years and their families. Anyone under 16 years needs to be accompanied by a parent or carer, and parents and carers are welcome to stay with a booked space).

CVI Country Music at the Camden Valley Inn
Held across the whole of this weekend, the Camden Valley Inn will host their Country Music Weekend, culminating in the major performances this Saturday afternoon from 1pm – 10:30pm.
The Lineup for Saturday’s event includes:

- 3:30pm-4pm - Rhinestone Rodeo Line Dancing
- 4pm-7pm - Zak Armstrong

Picton Cars & Coffee
Held on Sunday morning from 7am – 9:30am, Picton Cars & Coffee is on again at the new Walton St Car Park.
They meet every second Sunday of each month, with classic cars and enthusiasts alike enjoying the displays.
They can also enjoy coffee and delicious food from Picton’s local cafes.

2026 Herefords Australia National Youth Expo
Held across the whole of this weekend, The Herefords Australia Youth Committee has invited young beef industry enthusiasts to the 2026 Herefords Australia National Youth Expo at the Goulburn Showgrounds.
Designed for ages 6–25, the event builds knowledge and skills in a safe, welcoming environment. Activities cater to all experience levels, with demonstrations ranging from halter making and knot tying to feed milling and nutrient conversion. A strong focus ensures content is age-appropriate and provides practical skills participants can take away.
