Live Music at the Robertson Public House & Kitchen – Hayden Phillis

Join Hayden Phillis as he plays his live set at the Robertson Public House & Kitchen tonight from 7pm – 10pm.

This will be a busy month for the pub, with popular band Lara and the Troubadours on January 17th and live music as well as a Keg Toss on Australia Day.

Every Sunday and Wednesday for the rest of this month, the Mittagong Mushroom Farm is hosting their Pick Your Own Mushrooms experiences as well as Educational Mushroom Farm Family Tours (every Saturday), Mushroom Tunnel History Tours (every Thursday), and the M-Files Dark Tunnel Tours (Saturday evenings from 7pm).

Prices for the tours start from $39, with the M-Files Dark Tunnel Tours the most expensive at $69.

Drop in for St-Germain spritzes, a live DJ, sketch artists & even lawn bowls!

This Saturday will also include a live sax performance alongside the DJ. A bongo player will play alongside the DJ on the 17th, 24th and 31st.

Build a Bug Hotel, Goulburn Mulwaree Library

Suitable for all ages from 8 to 108, the Goulburn Mulwaree Library is holding a ‘Build a Bug Hotel’ workshop, where you can make a little house for all types of ‘creepy crawlies’ out of recycled and natural materials.

Bug hotels are a great way to bring native bees, bugs, and other creatures into your yard to increase pollination, remove aphids, and conserve our tiny wildlife.

Please note: Kids under 12 are encouraged to be supported by a parent to assist them with hammering of nails. Also, garden gloves are recommended.

Materials are all being provided and sponsored by Bunnings Goulburn.

The Build a Bug Hotel workshop starts from 10:30am through until 12 noon.

The Goulburn Mulwaree Library is located at the Council Chambers, 184-194 Bourke St, Goulburn.

Goulburn Rotary Parkside Markets, Belmore Park

The monthly Goulburn Rotary Parkside Markets, held on the second Saturday of every month, are on this Saturday from 8:30am – 1:30pm.

The markets are a regional produce and artisan market for the region’s talented makers and artists.

All funds raised from the markets go towards Goulburn Rotary’s various charities and projects.

Every second Sunday of the month and held at local café, Café on Queen, the Binalong Community Markets has a variety of stalls on offer.

The markets run from 10am-1pm at Café on Queen, 13 Queen St, Binalong.

Binalong is an interesting little town off the Hume Highway and not far away from Yass.
