FRIDAY JANUARY 23

Friday Karaoke at Sutton Forest Inn
Held on the fourth Friday of every month at the Sutton Forest Inn, Friday Night Karaoke runs from 8pm – 11pm.
Choose your favourite track to sing along to (or embarrass yourself with) on the microphone in front of a crowd of like-minded people.
There will also be the chance to take part in the badge draw (currently sitting at a cash prize of $1,200) or even to win a meat tray, usually drawn around 7:30pm.
There’s even $3 Happy Hours oysters available and live music from Tayvin Martin.

Ngununggula Nights at Ngununggula Gallery, East Bowral
Over the next three months, three Ngununggula Nights events will be held at Ngununggula Art Gallery in East Bowral from 6pm to 8pm.
From tonight, Friday February 20, and March 20, the Ngununggula Nights events will host a different live performer as well as art and a delicious Italian feast served up by the gallery’s The Hearth by Moonacres café.
Performers are as follows:
- Tonight: Bad Hoax
- February 20: Ben Malone
- March 20: Cooee
Tickets can be booked through Eventbrite and cost $10 per person (plus a booking fee), with children free.

Country Markets, Peppers Manor House

Hosted on the fourth Saturday of every month, the Peppers Manor House Country Markets are held in the grounds of the resort on Kater Rd from 9am – 1pm.
Visitors to the market can enjoy a pre-booked high tea, lunch or picnic hamper and can also enjoy purchasing a unique gift or a piece of art or craft and even buy delicious local treats from local vendors.
There’s also live music on the lawn from 9:30am.

Burns Night Dinner at The Bundanoon Hotel

The Bundanoon Pipe Band will be hosting a Burns Night this Sunday night at the Bundanoon Hotel from 5:30pm – 10pm, celebrating everything to do with renowned Scottish poet and lyricist Robert Burns.
There will be music, poetry and an authentic three course menu consisting of great Scottish food including a wee dram of whisky to celebrate the ‘ceremonial toast to the haggis.’
The three-course menu is listed below:
MENU
To start
Sourdough roll & cultured butter
Poached hens egg, black pudding, pea puree, sourdough & watercress.
Mains – table share
Slow braised Junee lamb shoulder, rosemary & red wine jus
Haggis with whisky jus, braised red cabbage, apple, and hazelnuts.
Sides – table share - Pea & mint salad and/or Neeps & tatties
Dessert
Cranachan, raspberries, Chantilly cream, toasted oats & whisky
The Bundanoon Pipe Band will also perform throughout the evening and will also include opportunities to support fundraising efforts for the band in the year ahead.
The past two events have been extremely popular and have sold out fast, so get in quick!
Dress code is ‘a touch of tartan.’

Ash Grunwald at Wollondilly Performing Arts Centre (WPAC)

Described as ‘electrifying,’ Australian blues and roots artist Ash Grunwald has wowed audiences and sold-out venues all over Australia for over 15 years, with 12 albums under his belt as well as five ARIA and four AIR award nominations and more.
He has also performed with such Australian music ‘royalty’ as Kasey Chambers, Scott & Andy from The Living End, Vika & Linda and many more.
He was also a regular at the popular Byron Bay Bluesfest.
He will be performing at the Wollondilly Performing Arts Centre at 66 Menangle St, Picton this Saturday night from 6:30pm.

Vintage Railmotor Rides, NSW Rail Museum, Thirlmere
Get the chance to have a ride on the NSW Rail Museum’s historic rail motor, CPH 18, today from 10:30am.
Go on a 40-minute train ride from Thirlmere to Buxton and return.
Rides depart from the Museum at 10:30am, 11:15am, 12:00pm, 1:15pm, 2:00pm and 2:45pm.

Coffee & Curves at Burra Bakery, Oakdale
The Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club (VJMC) is hosting their weekly ‘Coffee & Curves’ event at the Burra Bakery in Oakdale every Saturday morning from 8am – 10am.
If you have a classic motorcycle or even just a recent one, join the team at the bakery for a coffee and maybe some breakfast and then head out for a ride around the Wollondilly countryside.

Barefoot Beats at Picton Bowling Club
Enjoy a game of barefoot bowls and live music at the Picton Bowling Club this Sunday afternoon from 2pm, with special guest DJs out the back from 4pm.
The club will also be collaborating with local cider producer Cedar Creek Cider to serve their Apple and Blackcurrant Cider on tap at the club for $8.00.
The club’s Sassy Spoons cafe will also be open serving up their delicious food.

Blueys Roundup at One Raceway
Over two days on Friday and Saturday, the Motor Events Racing hosted event ‘Bluey’s Roundup ‘26 event will be held at One Raceway at Tirrannaville just outside Goulburn.
The event tests both the teams and the cars across two layouts, and there will also be a ‘Beers & BBQ’ event on Friday night after an exhausting day of racing, then on Saturday they race back in the opposite direction!

Goulburn Farmers Market at Goulburn Recreation Area
Usually held on the fourth Saturday of the month, the Goulburn Farmers Market will be on again at the Goulburn Recreation Area on Braidwood Rd from 8am – 11am this Saturday morning.
Local producers and makers will be selling their produce and artisan products as well as good coffee, beekeeping workshops and compost making sessions.
The event is proudly supported by Goulburn Mulwaree Council.
The Farmers Market has a new website with new vendors able to book a stall and current vendors able to sign in and register their usual spot.
The website also lists all the upcoming dates for all future markets throughout the rest of 2026.

ScrapKats Craft Group, CWA Rooms, Goulburn
Held on the 4th Saturday of every month the ScrapKats Craft Group runs at the CWA Rooms at 2 Montague St from 10am.
It originally started as a crop group for scrapbooking and cardmaking, the event has now turned into a day for all croppers and are also held in Goulburn, Lithgow, and the village of Neville, near Carcoar.
Not only is scrapbooking and cardmaking done, but also paper crafting, knitting, beadwork, macrame and much more.
Cost is $10 with tea and coffee supplied.

Her main area of expertise and style of voice is based on soul and blues, and she is guaranteed to put on a great show of singing prowess, just like her famous father.
