Mittagong Markets

Held on the 3rd and 5th Saturday of every month, and because this Saturday is the 5th Saturday of the month, the Mittagong Markets are on again at the Senior Citizens and Community Centre on the corner of Queen and Albert Sts, Mittagong from 8am to 2pm.

Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens Kite Flying Workshop

Held from 10am to 2pm at the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens in East Bowral, there will be fun for all the family with a workshop building and flying kites.

Suitable for all ages – young and old.

Bring your own kite or enrol in a kite making workshop.

Cost is $25 (Workshop only) or $30 (Workshop plus sausage sizzle and drink).

Costs include kite kit, construction & decorating.

Admission to the gardens is free.

The Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens is located at 1 Old South Rd, Bowral.

Coffee & Curves

The weekly Coffee & Curves motorcycling event is on again this Saturday at the Burra Bakery in Oakdale from 8:30am – 10am.

Hosted by the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club (VJMC), riders join together for breakfast and a coffee at the bakery and then embark on a ride around parts of the Wollondilly Shire.

The Burra Bakery is located at 1520 Burragorang Rd, Oakdale.

Picton Markets

Held at Victoria Park and Picton Showground, the Picton Markets are on again this Sunday from 8am to 2pm.

The Picton Markets are a proud sub-branch of the Picton Show Society, dedicated to supporting and showcasing local small businesses.

Their mission is to provide a much-needed service to the Picton area by offering a vibrant market space where local vendors can thrive.

Enjoy a day out with delicious food, unique shopping, live music, and fun for the whole family.

Seed Library Launch, Goulburn Mulwaree Library

Goulburn Mulwaree Library is excited to launch a Seed Library from 2pm to 4pm this Saturday in collaboration with Goulburn Mulwaree Landcare Landscapes.

Please join them to celebrate this amazing new resource for their community

There will be entertainment by the marvellous musical sensation ‘The Vegetable Plot’ and their funky, fresh tunes, planting seeds of inspiration, and serving up a big wriggling heap of truly rotten jokes.

Following the official launch, participants can choose to stay for an expert talk about seed saving or branch off to the Children’s Room for some fun gardening crafts for kids.

Guests will be in the running for lucky door prizes and can browse their gardening book display.

Light afternoon tea refreshments will also be available following the launch. Tickets to this event are $5 and can be purchased at https://events.humanitix.com/seed-library-launch/tickets.

Cars at the Courthouse

Cars at the Courthouse is a classic car meet held on the last Sunday of every month on Montague Street between the Courthouse and Belmore Park from 10am to 11:30am.

Bring the whole family to enjoy their classic cars, kids can play in the park and support the local cafes and businesses.

Event will be held rain, hail or shine, depending on how game you are with your pride and joy!
