FRIDAY APRIL 3
Rotary Moss Vale Showground Markets
The Rotary Moss Vale Showground Markets have a special Easter theme today, due to there not being a market on in March because of the Moss Vale Show. They are holding this extra market (as the traditional ones are held on the third weekend of every month), and will run from 9am to 2pm.
There will be traditional stalls and handmade crafts, food and even a special visit from the Easter Bunny at 11am for the kids! And as Graeme Day mentioned on the radio on Wednesday, the delicious Rotary scones will be on offer.

The Vineyards Easter Festival
Hosted by Artisan Events, the Vineyards Easter Festival will be held at Centennial Vineyards in Bowral this Saturday from 10am – 3pm.
There will be over 150 boutique stalls on offer as well as gourmet food trucks and live music from country musician Amber Kenny, and a live broadcast from radio station 2ST on offer as well.
Free entry and also free parking.

Craigieburn’s Easter Egg Hunt
Families can celebrate Easter at Peppers Craigieburn in Bowral this Sunday with lunch and a whole host of other activities on offer for the kids.
Commencing from 10am through until 12 noon, the Craigieburn lawns will come alive with an ‘Easter Garden Adventure’, offering children the excitement of a golden egg hunt, face painting, an ice cream van, games, crafts, and access to their pickleball and tennis courts for added fun and movement.
Parents can also enjoy a relaxed tour of the gardens as well, and maybe even lunch afterwards in the restaurant.

Easter In The Village of Robertson
Robertson’s famous Pig Potato will come alive on Sunday for the Easter in the Village of Robertson event from 10am to 2pm.
There will be market stalls on offer as well as face painting, a photo booth and teddy bear’s picnic on offer for the kids.
‘Benny’ the easter bunny will make an Easter appearance at 12:30pm handing out Easter eggs and the kids can have a free ‘selfie’ with him.

Bargo Dingo Sanctuary experience
Located next door to the Australian Wildlife Sanctuary at Bargo, the Bargo Dingo Sanctuary is hosting a special Good Friday and Easter Saturday experience with the dingos.
For just $10 for a ticket for adults and $5 for kids, and with tours running at 10am, 11am and 1pm, the dingo sanctuary encourages a visit, interact and learn about the ‘true Australian dog’ and how they benefit the Australian ecosystem.
For an optional extra, you can also add in a Personal Dingo Encounter for $10.

Bush Traditions - OZ Music Sessions@ The Goulburn Club
Held once a month on a Friday night from 7:30pm – 11pm, the Bush Traditions – Oz Music Sessions event is held at Goulburn folk music venue, The Goulburn Club in Market St.
There’s an opportunity to perform songs, dance, tunes, poems and more.
They also have a ‘Folk Ring’, where each person chooses an item to request or to lead.
A booklet of local dance tunes has been compiled to use at the sessions, or you can also join in and sing along by ear.

St Saviours Community Markets
The traditional first monthly St Saviours Community Markets are on again this Saturday in the St Saviours Cathedral hall and surrounding gardens.
With a delicious gourmet BBQ on offer as well as an array of market stalls and tea and coffee available to purchase, too.

Flickerfest Short Film Festival, Goulburn Performing Arts Centre
Now into its 35th year, the traditional Australian short film festival Flickerfest is coming to the Goulburn Performing Arts Centre for one night only this Saturday from 7:30pm – 9:45pm.
Flickerfest stands as Australia’s premier Academy Award and BAFTA-qualifying short film festival.
As the nation’s largest short film competition, it showcases outstanding Australian and international shorts selected from almost 3,600 entries.
Flickerfest presents an A-list line-up recognised globally for its excellence, spotlighting some of the best short films from around the world.
Flickerfest returns with this annual one-off chance to see the ‘Best of Australian Shorts’ programme officially selected for Flickerfest National Tour, before these films continue their journey around the world.

Bungonia Sunday Breakfast
On the first and third Sunday of every month, the Bungonia Community Hall plays host to the Bungonia Sunday Breakfast from 9am to 11am.
Dishes for breakfast include a Full English Breakfast (only$12!), a Bacon & Egg Roll, scrambled eggs or pancakes with maple syrup, cream, jam and butter for only $7, and fresh barista made coffee for only $4.
The breakfast is run by the not – for – profit Bungonia Progress Association to help with the costs of keeping the hall open to the public.

Amber Kenny at Yazzbar
Amber Kenny is a Southern Highlands country music performer who has been to the Tamworth Country Music Festival several times, both solo and with her band The Wildflowers.
She will certainly be busy this weekend, as she will also be performing at the Vineyards Easter Festival at Bowral’s Centennial Vineyard on Saturday afternoon.
Her show at Yazzbar will run from 7pm – 10pm.

Riverbank Park Run
A fun and free five – kilometre walk or run along the banks of the Yass River, commencing at Riverbank Park, the Riverbank Park Run is a traditional Saturday morning weekly activity in Yass now.
And if you don’t want to run, jog, or walk there’s also a chance to be a volunteer.
Event does require registration before attending, though. Attendees can also monitor their lap time at the end.
Some runners also grab a post-run coffee at Trader & Co afterwards, and you’re welcome to join them.
