The Big Merino 40th Birthday Celebrations
That’s right, Goulburn’s most famous landmark, The Big Merino is turning the big 4-0!

The event runs from 9am – 2pm and everyone’s invited to come along and party, with face painting for the kids, giveaways and massive birthday specials on merchandise.
Special guest will be world record-breaking 37 year old sheep shearer Nikki Lyons from Good Hope near Yass, who sheared a record 395 merino lambs in eight hours in a shearing shed in Bowning this time last year. Her running average was an amazing 72.3 seconds per lamb.
The Big Merino is located at 3 Sowerby St, Goulburn.
