$5.5 million in Federal funding for Bargo road improvements
Wollondilly Council will receive just over $5.5 million in Federal Government funding for improvements to Bargo roads.

Wollondilly Council will receive just over $5.5 million in Federal Government funding for improvements to Bargo roads.
Council has secured funding through the Safe Local Roads and Infrastructure Program for important upgrades on Radnor Road and on Hawthorne and Johnston Roads.
Council has thanked residents who provided feedback on the proposed works and who took part in community pop-up sessions at Bargo Sportsground and Bargo Primary School.
“Your support helped strengthen our application and we are so pleased to bring these upgrades to life for the community,” a spokesperson said.
“These projects will improve safety, drainage and access for the local community and are a great investment in Bargo’s future.”
Council has secured $2,511,244 in funding for Radnor Road improvements including road widening, road stabilisation and the construction of new drainage pits.
It will also see the completion of kerb and guttering and footpaths.
Council has secured $3,086,723 for similar works on Hawthorne and Johnston Roads.
