Teen seriously injured in Hume Highway crash at Marulan

A teenage boy has suffered serious injuries and a woman has been taken to hospital with possible spinal injuries following a two-vehicle crash on the Hume Highway at Marulan.

A teenage boy has suffered serious injuries and a woman has been taken to hospital with possible spinal injuries following a two-vehicle crash on the Hume Highway at Marulan.

Emergency services were called to the highway near Munro Road about 11.35am on Sunday.

Police said an LDV utility and a Ford utility collided, causing the Ford to roll.

The Ford’s driver, a 42-year-old woman, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for possible spinal injuries before being taken to Canberra Hospital.

A 17-year-old boy travelling as a rear passenger in the LDV was also taken to Canberra Hospital with serious injuries.

The LDV’s 18-year-old driver and its other passengers were assessed by paramedics and taken to Goulburn Base Hospital for further treatment.

The highway has since been cleared and police are investigating the cause of the crash.
