Police warn 000 may not work on Telstra mobiles
NSW Police have advised locals that the Telstra outage means 000 may not work on phones across Southern NSW including Bowral, Goulburn, Picton and Yass.

UPDATED 1015AM The Telstra CFO advises that 90% of services are restored but there may be still intermittent problems.
NSW Police have advised locals that the Telstra outage means 000 may not work on phones across Southern NSW including Bowral, Goulburn, Picton and Yass.
The Police have confirmed the 000 system is working, and any impacted Telstra users should try another phone or enable wifi calling to reach 000.
The ongoing Telstra outage is also impacting those planning to travel to Sydney via the Southern Highlands Line. The line is presently closed. For updates please check live traffic.
Telstra will be holding a press conference at 9:45am this morning (8 July).
