Feeling stressed or struggling with life’s challenges?

The Bundanoon-based Quest for Life Foundation may have the answer.

The Foundation is inviting residents across South West Sydney, Wollondilly, Camden and the Southern Highlands to attend a one-day workshop in Campbelltown next month (February) for anyone “navigating the pressures, changes and uncertainties of everyday life”.

There will be two separate one-day workshops on Friday, February 27 and Saturday, February 28 offering participants “a supportive space to pause, reset and take home evidence-informed tools and strategies to manage stress more skilfully – before it becomes burnout”.

It is the first time Quest for Life has offered such a program to the community and may lead to a roll-out of similar programs into other regions.

Quest for Life Partnerships Manager Candice Piper said the program had been designed for people feeling “a bit overwhelmed” and would provide them with strategies and techniques to move forward.

Ms Piper said stress was an easy entry point for anyone wanting to attend the workshop.

“We all use that word (stress),” she said this week.

Quest for Life’s Bundanoon-based programs have already attracted participants from around the country.

The not-for-profit has also held workshops across the state to help people cope with natural disasters such as bushfires.

Quest for Life was founded by Petrea King in 1989 after a string of personal traumas.

She said the Foundation’s programs were designed to help people “heal the past, build resilience for the future and live in the present”.

It has helped more than 150,00 people over the past 35 years.

The Stress Reset workshops will be facilitated by an expert in the wellbeing field, Quest for Life's Austin Stewart.

Ms Piper will also be on hand to answer any questions and connect with those people attending.

The workshops will run from 9.30am-3pm on February 27 and 28 at the Campbelltown Catholic Club (20-22 Camden Road, Campbelltown).

The $120 cost includes catering, materials and a gift bag including Petrea King’s latest book.

Places are strictly limited.
