Multiple emergency services attend a light plane crash on Medway Rd at Berrima
At about 7.45am today emergency services were called to Medway Road, Berrima, following reports of a plane crash.

At about 7.45am today emergency services were called to Medway Road, Berrima, following reports of a plane crash.
Officers attached to The Hume Police District, alongside NSW Ambulance paramedics, the Berrima Rural Fire Service (RFS) and others, attended and found a recreational aircraft had crashed into a paddock.
The pilot and sole occupant – a 58-year-old man – was trapped for some time before being freed.
He sustained injuries to his hips, pelvis, legs and arms.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and was expected to be airlifted in a critical condition to Liverpool Hospital.
Aviation authorities have been notified, and investigations are ongoing.
