Motorcyclist dies in fatal crash near Thirlmere
A motorbike rider has died following a two-vehicle crash in the Wollondilly region in the early hours of this morning.

A motorbike rider has died following a two-vehicle crash near Thirlmere this morning.
About 6.10am emergency services were called to West Parade, near Bargo River Road at Couridjah, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command attended and found a car and motorbike had collided.
NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the scene, however, the rider – a 65-year-old man – died at the scene.
The driver of the car ran from the scene prior to police arrival, and a search is underway.
A crime scene was established, and police commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash, with specialist officers from the Crash Investigation Unit in attendance.
A report has been prepared for the coroner.
