Mother Bonnie Pearce is concerned for her daughter’s whereabouts after reports of her going missing.

Ms. Pearce, who hails from Oberon, posted a message on the Bundanoon Community Noticeboard Facebook page today (Monday 2 March) noting that her 15-year-old daughter, whose name is Madison-Jane Gehrig-Frazer, had been missing since Friday night (27 February).

“My 15-year-old daughter Madison Jane Gehrig-Frazer went missing from her ‘father’s’ house in Bundanoon,” Ms. Pearce posted on the Facebook page.

“She has been missing since Friday, but her father didn’t report it until last night (Sunday). I’m unsure of what she is wearing, and she may have ‘Whiskey’ her mixed-breed black and white dog, (who she never goes without) with her.”

Madison has also dyed her hair, which is normally red in colour.

Ms. Pearce told The Southern Wire that Madison only moved to Bundanoon with her father in December of 2025, and that she received a call from an unknown number telling her that Madison had been reported missing.

Madison also suffers from mental health issues and is known to self-harm.

“I normally don’t answer private numbers (for obvious reasons), but when I played back the voice message and realised it was the police, I was onto them straight away,” Ms. Pearce said.

“There were a lot of nervous phone calls back and forth, I can assure you!”

The last known sighting of Madison was in Minto, but her mother also received information that she was at an unknown address in Picton.

Ms. Pearce is advising if anyone has seen her to please contact Moss Vale Police urgently.

She also pleaded with Madison to contact her and let her know that she’s OK.

“Madison, if you don’t want to come home straight away, I understand and I’ll let you do your thing – just get in contact with me and let me know you’re OK,” Ms. Pearce said.

Southern Highlands Police can be contacted on 4869 7899.

Or if you have any sightings of Madison or have seen someone with her, contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
