The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority’s (ACARA) My School website has been updated with 2025 NAPLAN data and other school-level information.

The latest NAPLAN data is now available online.
The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority’s (ACARA) My School website has been updated with 2025 NAPLAN data and other school-level information.
NAPLAN – which stands for the National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy – is an annual assessment for students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 nationwide.
It was as introduced in 2008 to test students in reading, writing, language conventions (spelling, grammar and punctuation) and numeracy and to provide a measure of their abilities against national standards.
The 2025 update – released yesterday (Wednesday) – includes the return of information on student progress, showing how much the same students at the same school have improved since their last NAPLAN assessment two years ago.
Members of the public can also access:
· 2025 Naplan results for schools;
· 2025 school profile and enrolment data;
· 2025 school attendance data for Semester 1 (Terms 1 and 2);
· 2024 school financial information including recurrent funding and capital expenditure;
· 2024 Year 12 certifications.
ACARA’S CEO, Stephen Gniel, said the My School website provided parents, carers and the community with clear and transparent data on Australian schools.
It is the only website that publishes nationally consistent, school-level data that people can access free of charge.
“The full range of data on ACARA’s My School website helps leaders, teachers, parents and carers understand the full value and quality of a school,” Mr Gniel said.
“This includes NAPLAN results within the broader context in which each schools operates, such as its socio-economic advantage.”
My School’s Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage (ICSEA) indicates the average educational advantage of each school’s students. It is calculated using information about the occupation and education of parents and carers, the geographic location of a school the number of First Nations Australian students.
A school’s ICSEA value is provided to encourage people to take socio-educational advantage into account when comparing school achievement.
The My School data and the latest National Report on Schooling data – also released on Wednesday – show an increase in school attendance during the first two terms of the 2025 school year.
Overall, the national attendance rate was 88.8 per cent (up slightly from 88.3 per cent) and the national attendance level – the proportion of students in Years 1-10 who attendance of greater than 90 per cent – was 62.1 per cent (up from 59.4 per cent).
