The King’s Foundation Australia will host a free community screening of a landmark documentary in Bowral next month.

‘Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision’ will be screened at the Empire Cinema on March 12 and 13.

It is being described an ‘unprecedented’ Prime Video documentary chronicling King Charles’ philosophy of ‘Harmony’ and the environment as a whole.

The documentary was filmed last year across four continents.

The King’s Harmony philosophy encourages people to see themselves as part of nature – not apart from nature.

“His Majesty believes looking at the world in this way and understanding that nature is at the core of human wellbeing and prosperity will highlight the urgent need to take practical action to protect and restore the climate and our planet - and ultimately build a sustainable future,” a spokesperson for The Kings Foundation said.

This philosophy is brought to life through a deeply personal mission undertaken by The King’s Foundation, a charity founded in 1990 by His Majesty as Prince of Wales.

This documentary – narrated by Academy Award winner and Kings Foundation ambassador Kate Winslet - explores the origins, evolution and scientific foundations of The King’s ‘Harmony’ philosophy.

Headquartered at Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Scotland, His Majesty and The King’s Foundation have transformed this estate into a living demonstration of these principles.

The Dumfries House estate spans 2000 acres of woodland, gardens and playgrounds – all managed in line with sustainable practices.

It is also home to extensive education campus catering to students of all ages.

The philosophy underpins the work of The King’s Foundation Australia as custodians of the historically significant property, Hillview at Sutton Forest.

The Kings Foundation Australia was officially launched at Admiralty House in Sydney on October 22, 2024, and has been described as a ‘permanent presence’ for The Kings Foundation in Australia.

Hillview Estate will be the ‘flagship’ regeneration project for The Kings Foundation Australia and will take inspiration from Dumfries House.

The Foundation will restore the property and its wider estate and run education and training programs for the local community in traditional and heritage crafts, turning it into a cultural hub for the region and the nation.

The King and Queen both attended the premiere of the documentary at Windsor Castle late last month accompanied by The Duchess of Edinburgh and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

‘Finding Harmony: A Kings Vision’ will be screened at Bowral’s Empire Cinema at 6pm on Thursday, March 12 and Friday, March 13.

Guests will receive a complimentary drink on arrival and a choice of popcorn or choc top ice cream to enjoy during the documentary.
