Three tobacconists in the Southern Highlands have been forced to close by the NSW Department of Health over alleged illegal sales.

Three tobacconists in the Southern Highlands have been forced to close by the NSW Department of Health over alleged illegal sales.
The A2Z Tobacconist Vape shop at 98A Main Street, Mittagong, has been ordered shut until 16 June 2026 over the alleged sale of illicit tobacco and vaping goods.
Also in Mittagong, R & S Tobacconist and Convenience at 97 Main Street has been closed until the same date for allegedly selling illicit tobacco and operating without a valid retail licence.
In Moss Vale, a shop at 422 Argyle Street — near the corner of Arthur Street — has also been shut until 16 June 2026 for the alleged sale of illicit tobacco and vaping products.
NSW Health Minister Ryan Park said enforcement would continue to increase.
“With more inspectors on the ground, our work to disrupt the supply of these products will continue to ramp up to protect public health across NSW,” he said.
