Western Sydney’s favourite place to cool down has reopened - with extended hours of 7am–7pm locked in for the peak of the 2025–26 season.

The opening kicked off with a huge community day, free ice creams and coffees, music and plenty of families out enjoying the water.

 Coming soon:

An eight-week Surf Life Saving program for kids aged 5–12, running Saturdays in Term 1, 2026. Two sessions, 40 places each, teaching water safety, swimming skills and confidence.

 Community Water Safety Days

Three dedicated safety sessions for communities new to the water, held on 21 Jan, 19 Feb and 19 Mar 2026.

 Skin Check Champions

The ‘Silver Bullet’ mobile clinic returns for 160 professional skin checks across two weekends: 13–14 Dec 2025 and 24–25 Jan 2026.

Since first opening in 2023, Penrith Beach has welcomed more than 330,000 visitors and this year it’s even better, with new shaded seating, outdoor showers, accessible pathways, change rooms, and over 350 parking spaces.

Lifeguards from Surf Life Saving NSW will be on duty every day.
