Event will help small businesses THRIVE
Wollondilly business owners, sole traders and people considering self-employment will have an opportunity to put their questions directly to local experts at an event in Picton next month.
Wollondilly business owners, sole traders and people considering self-employment will have an opportunity to put their questions directly to local experts at an event in Picton next month.
THRIVE – being presented as part of NSW Small Business Month - will bring together an expert panel, business-support organisations and local networks at the Wollondilly Civic Centre in Picton between 3pm and 5pm on Wednesday, October 14.
“People running small businesses often have a question they’ve been sitting with for months, but they don’t know who to ask,” said Jill Heaton, CEO of The Unleashed Collective.
“THRIVE gives people a place to ask it, hear practical advice and meet people who can help them take the next step.”
Mrs Heaton said it was rare to find so many business support services together in the same room.
Exhibiting organisations will include the Wilton Business Network, Western Sydney Business Centre, Service NSW Business Bureau and Sarina Ruso Entrepreneurs.
Panel members will include Rachel McKay of Build with Rach, Michael Quinn of Quinn M&A, Phinemm Nelson of Vocalise Academy, Amanda Dennis and Kirsti Reynolds of RubyOnyx Marketing & Creative and Hayley of Cockinos Consulting.
Attendees can submit a question before the event or ask one during a panel Q&A session.
Topics will include business planning, accounting and legal matters, marketing, artificial intelligence, sales, coaching and self-employment.
THRIVE will be open to established business owners, people in the early stages of starting a business, employed workers and job seekers exploring self-employment.
Registration is essential.
The cost will be $12 for self-employed and employed attendees.
