Local disability service provider Interchange Australia (Southern Highlands) is gearing up for their annual event - RockCan 2026.
Local disability service provider Interchange Australia (Southern Highlands) is gearing up for their annual event - RockCan 2026.
Each year has a theme, and this year's theme is in commemoration of Interchange celebrating their 40th 'Ruby' Anniversary, 'RockCan 2026 - Ruby Red Slippers' (inspired by The Wizard of Oz).
"The performers we have lined up are 'The Hidden Wonders', 'Higher Than High' (both from Bowral) and 'Infinite Potential' (from our Narellan branch)," Interchange Marketing and Events Coordinator, Tahlia Stavrach told The Southern Wire.
"We also have 3 groups from the local community taking part - River Road Academy, Bowral High School's band 'Dead by Autumn' and local youth band '6 Thirty'.
"We're so proud to be supporting the community for yet another year, showcasing the talent and diversity among young people and people with disabilities.
"We're very much looking forward to RockCan this year (as we do every year) and are counting down the days!"
The event will be held on Saturday November 14 from 3:00pm at the Mittagong RSL Club.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by calling the Interchange office on 02 4868 6688 or visiting the event page on Humanitix at www.events.humanitix.com/rockcan2026.
