Marulan residents will have direct access to Goulburn-Mulwaree Council’s general manager and other council staff as part of a new initiative.

Starting this Friday (October 16), general manager, Scott Gallacher and ‘various’ council staff will be available at Marulan Hall on a fortnightly basis for a two-month trial period.

Members of the community are being invited to drop by between 2pm and 4pm to ask questions about council services or to raise issues and concerns.

No appointments will be necessary.

A council spokesperson said the initiative would help determine whether further services were required in Marulan.

“This initiative is being trialled to help council understand whether providing regular satellite services in Marulan would benefit the community and provide more opportunities for residents to connect directly with council,” the spokesperson said.
