BREAKING - Fire Destroys Iconic Building
A much loved building in Menangle, known as The Store, was destroyed by fire this morning.
A much loved building in Menangle, known as The Store, was destroyed by fire this morning.
Whilst no one was hurt, assessments are underway to determine if the structure can be rebuilt.
The owners and 16 staff are now without income.
Deputy Mayor of Wollondilly Matthew Deeth commented online that the fire was "truly devastating" and has called on the community to rally behind the owners and staff.

The Store was established in 1904. Only yesterday, the Facebook page for The Store was advertising for a new chef.
