A motorcycle rider has died following a crash in Camden South yesterday.

A 50-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Camden South on Saturday afternoon.

A 50-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Camden South on Saturday afternoon.

Police say emergency services responded to a crash been a motorbike and a Ford Ranger at the intersection of the Old Hume Highway and Wire Lane at approximately 2.10pm.

The motorcyclist died at the scene.

The driver of the Ford Ranger – a 76-year-old man – was uninjured and was taken to Campbelltown Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Camden Police Area Command established a crime scene that was examined by specialist police.

Anyone with information that may assist police with their investigation into the crash has been asked to contact the Narellan Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

This includes anyone who was in the vicinity at the time of the accident and who may have dashcam or mobile phone footage.

Information reported to Crime Stoppers is managed on a strictly confidential basis.
