There was a bigger and better run of feeder steers and a few weaners along with a run of open auction calves.

No trade cattle were sold with feeders the strength. Grown steers were limited and all were lacking condition and went to feed with the exception of 1 heavy bullock. Grown heifers were mostly plainer in condition with only a limited supply of prime heavy weights and 75 cows were penned.

Weaners were 3c dearer selling to 500c and heifers lifted 10c reaching 407c/kg. Feeder steers sold between 430c and 460c with restockers paying to 503c/kg for medium weights. Feeder heifers were 25c cheaper on a limited supply and sold from 380c to 400c/kg.

Grown steers to feed sold to a cheaper trend and ranged from 393c to 452c/kg and prime grown heifers followed a similar trend ranging from 356c to 400c/kg. The better end of the heavy prime cows were 10c stronger but over all the heavy weights prices averaged firm and ranged from 360c to 398c/kg.
