SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS
FRIDAY DECEMBER 19
Gardens and Landscapes of the Southern Highlands – Then and Now
The Southern Highlands branch of the Australian Garden History Society run a digital exhibition in the Williams Gallery of the Berrima District Museum. The exhibition displays 200 years of landscapes and gardens both old and new.
Each of the ten screens features a different theme including early photos of Bundanoon Gullies, the botanical drawings of Louisa Atkinson, the Hordern Gardens of Bowral, Tulip Time and a number of local gardens featured in Highlife magazine over the years.
The exhibition is open every weekend at the Berrima District Museum, 1A Market St, Berrima.
SATURDAY DECEMBER 20
Christmas Market @ Peppers Manor House
Peppers Manor House at Sutton Forest will be hosting their Christmas Markets from 10 am to 3pm.
There will be multiple stalls on offer selling all sorts of artisan gifts as well as last minute Christmas gifts. Visitors can also sit back on a picnic rug and listen to live music on the lawns. Leashed pets are also welcome with treats and special gifts on offer for them, too.
The onsite Kater’s Restaurant is also open for lunch or high tea via pre-bookings.

Sutton Forest Cars and Coffee
The last Cars and Coffee event for the year will be held on the corner of Exeter Rd and Illawarra Highway at Sutton Forest, and promises to be the biggest yet, with a large variety of classic cars to admire and dream about. You can also purchase a coffee from the Rush Coffee hut along with some delicious hot food or pastries.

WOLLONDILLY
FRIDAY DECEMBER 19
Weekday Fruit Picking,Cedar Creek Orchard, Thirlmere
Enjoy picking of stone fruit, specifically white peaches at Cedar Creek Orchard in Thirlmere. The visit also includes a tractor ride from the farm shed to the orchard and also bring a reusable bag to pick the fruit into.
Cedar Creek Orchard is located at 269 Mulhollands Rd, Thirlmere.
Prices start from $9 for adults, $4.50 and kids under 2 free. Only 2 times are available – from 10am and 10:20am, with the tours running for approximately 75 minutes.

Picton Parkrun, Picton Botanic Gardens
Starting every Saturday from 8am, the Picton Park Run meets at the Picton Botanic Gardens where runners can then do a timed 5km run, walk or jog. The event is open to all ages and abilities, and is run entirely by volunteers.
This weekend’s run will be a special Christmas themed-event, so participants are encouraged to wear something festive and look good for the camera!

Christmas Family Fun Day at the Tahmoor Inn
The Tahmoor Inn is hosting their annual Christmas Family Fun Day this Sunday from 12 noon to 3pm, with Christmas themed activities including a reptile show and face painting and even a special visit from Santa!

Goulburn Thoroughbred Racing Christmas Cup, Goulburn Racecourse
The Goulburn District Racing Club will be hosting the Goulburn Christmas Cup Race Day, incorporating the Fred Cooper Cup. Its a perfect way to end the year by either hiring a picnic service or BYO picnic rug to watch and cheer on the horses in the Christmas Cup.
Gates open from 12 noon, and return courtesy buses are also available to return to the Goulburn CBD after the conclusion of the event at 6pm.
Tickets are available and start from $15 for Adults, $7.50 Concession and students (teenagers 13 – 17), Under 12 free.

Bungonia Village Christmas Carols
Lilac City Brass will be presenting this year’s Bungonia Village Christmas Carols from 6:30pm- 8:00pm.
The free family event will be held in the Bungonia Village Park (or hall if the weather is bad). There will the traditional carols plus live music, so bring along a picnic rug and join in the festivities.
The Bungonia RFS will also be cooking up a sausage sizzle with drinks available for purchase.
The event is proudly sponsored by the Bungonia Progress Association, with all proceeds from the night going towards the Bungonia RFS, Bungonia Village Park and Lilac City Brass.

Carols by Candlelight, St Peter & Paul’s Catholic Cathedral, Goulburn
Join the Goulburn Catholic community in their Carols by Candlelight service with familiar carols and Christmas songs that everyone can sing along to, accompanied by parish musicians.
The event will run from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at St Peter & Paul’s Catholic Cathedral, 36 Verner St, Goulburn.
