VIDEO: Stop the Gas Plant forum attracts large crowd
Approximately 400 people turned up to Moss Vale Services Club on Sunday night to learn more about a proposed gas-fired power plant in the Southern Highlands Innovation Precinct (SHIP) on the outskirts of Moss Vale.
Approximately 400 people turned up to Moss Vale Services Club on Sunday night to learn more about a proposed gas-fired power plant in the Southern Highlands Innovation Precinct (SHIP) on the outskirts of Moss Vale.
The forum was led by Councillor Heather Champion and the Stop the Gas Plant committee, with a panel led by Kylie Roberts-Frost with Dr Simon Bradshaw from Greenpeace, Federal Senator for NSW David Shoebridge MP, and Dr Jacqui Duc from Doctors for the Environment.
Local architect and design advisor Jessica Ryall also gave a presentation on the extent of the proposals to the audience from the research she had carried out.
