Taking time out isn’t a luxury – it’s essential.
That’s the key message from Quest for Life’s CEO, Petrea King, leading into a new Your Life Matters program in Campbelltown.
“Small, practical changes can make a profound difference to how we experience life," Petrea said.
Your Life Matters is being described as “an empowering, practical one-day workshop that will give participants the opportunity to step out of the busyness of daily life and reconnect with what matters most.”
Residents of the local region are being encouraged to sign up.
Attendees will learn simple, effective tools and strategies to support their wellbeing, build resilience and to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
For people juggling work, family, or personal pressures, it provides a supportive space to pause, reflect and learn practical ways to live well.
According to Quest for Life, participants will learn:
· How to build resilience in the face of challenging circumstances;
· The importance of self-care and how to integrate it into daily life;
· How to manage emotions and recognise burnout;
· Easy ways to incorporate relaxation into everyday routines.
Feedback from previous workshops has reportedly been resoundingly positive, with participants describing the sessions as "empowering," "well-presented,” and “clear, simple, and easy to understand.”
The next Your Life Matters one-day workshop will be held at the Campbelltown Catholic Club on Saturday, May 23. Places are limited and those people wanting to attend are asked to call 1300 941 488 or register here.
The cost to attend is $150 ($120 for eligible concession card holders, e.g. seniors/students), and includes morning tea, all materials and a copy of Petrea King’s book Your Life Matters.
Concession card must be shown on arrival at the workshop.
