Local cyclists wanting to take part in this year’s Bowral Classic are being reminded that Early Bird pricing will end within days.

Cyclists are being encouraged to sign up before 11.59pm on June 21 to take advantage of Early Bird prices.

Standard pricing will apply from June 22 to September 13 and late pricing from September 14 through until the day of the event (Sunday, October 18).

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Bowral Classic and organisers expect it to be the biggest yet.

Since beginning in 2016 it has grown into one of Australia’s premier sporting events.

It attracts thousands of riders from around the country every year who enjoy the challenging climbs as much as the picturesque countryside.

This year organisers have named the Little Legs Foundation as the event’s official charity partner.

The Little Legs Foundation is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for childhood brain cancer while spreading a message of hope and compassion to families facing unimaginable challenges.

Riders will have the opportunity to fundraise as part of their Bowral Classic journey – whether it be for the Little Legs Foundation or another registered charity close to their heart.

“One of the things we’re most proud of over the past decade is the positive impact our riders have made both on and off the bike,” Event Director Vanessa Burges said this week.

“Through fundraising efforts, community partnerships and volunteer programs, The Classic has always been about much more than cycling.”

The Bowral Classic also continues to support local charities directly with schools, sporting groups and not-for-profit organisations able to raise funds through volunteer opportunities as part of the event.
