Slow down near Bong Bong Common
Reduced speed limits will be in place on Moss Vale Road until April next year as work continues on the Bong Bong Common intersection upgrade.

Reduced speed limits will be in place on Moss Vale Road until April next year as work continues on the Bong Bong Common intersection upgrade.
The project is being carried out at a cost of more than $2 million and will improve safety for motorists accessing Bong Bong Common and the Cecil Hoskins Nature Reserve.
The improvements will include a dedicated left-hand turning lane for southbound traffic and a right-hand turning lane for northbound traffic and will help improve traffic flows along Moss Vale Road, particularly at peak times.
The principal construction contractor for the project is Fulton Hogan Pty Ltd. Besides the dedicated turning lanes other improvements will include road widening, guardrail installation, drainage upgrades and road resurfacing.
Two-way traffic will be maintained for the duration of the project but a 24-hour 40km/h speed limit will be retained for the duration of the works.
Motorists are being urged to obey the reduced speed limits and to drive to conditions. Works will take place throughout the day as well as at night and will continue through until April 2026, weather permitting.
