This year’s Goulburn Show provided another proud dad moment for Shellharbour’s Alexander Economos.

Alexander’s 12-year-old daughter Paris was unable to get to the show because of a health condition, so he made the trip on his own with two of her cats, Lovlidolls Adorabelle and Lovlidolls Tabbytha.

It was a very proud Alexander returning home to his daughter with Best Ragdoll in Show for Lovlidolls Adorabelle, a blue point tabby.

Paris has some health issues and sometimes she can’t get to shows when she wants.

Those issues have also made it difficult to fit into the education system - so she has found a better fit and has made plenty of new friends in the homeschooling community.

Cats have made an enormous difference – specifically ragdoll cats.

Mum Shaynee said Paris asked for a cat when she was four and a first cat became a second cat.

A first cat became a second cat.

She now has eight kittens with more of the way.

All of her cats are DNSA tested.

She has set up a dedicated play space for her cats and gets to spend several hours with them every day.

In the short-term, Paris is hoping to get to the Royal Easter Show in Sydney with Lovlidolls Tabbytha, Adorabelle and Audrey Hepurrn.

In the long-term, she is hoping to turn her passion for ragdolls into a full-time job as a cat judge, continuing to breed and show her cats to improve to breed and enjoying “such a wonderful hobby”.

She is already doing junior handling at shows and speaking publicly about her cats when she gets the opportunity.
