Power outage affects large area of Southern Highlands after heavy rain and storm this afternoon

The Moss Vale Aquatic Centre notified their customers that they had to close early on their Facebook page.
"Due to a recent power outage in the area, Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre will be closed for the remainder of the evening," they stated in the post.
"Please keep an eye out on our socials for any updates. We appreciate your understanding!"
According to information on Endeavour Energy's website, the outage occurred at approximately 3:50pm, with an estimated time for the power to return at 9pm tonight.
However your scribe received news that his power came back on at his home at around 5:15pm.
Endeavour Energy reported on their website that 2,541 customers have been affected.
Weatherzone recorded Bowral receiving a dump of 39 mm of rain in the one hour to 4:15pm.
