Residents near the NSW Police Academy in Goulburn have been advised to expect intermittent loud noises on Saturday afternoon and evening as part of a scheduled police training exercise.
The exercise will take place within the grounds of the academy on McDermott Drive between 3pm and 8.30pm on Saturday 14 March.
Police said the activity forms part of essential training conducted at the facility and may involve intermittent loud noises during the exercise.
Authorities emphasised that the training will occur entirely within the academy grounds and that strict safety protocols will be followed throughout.
Residents have been assured there is no risk to the public.
