Six additional paramedics commenced work in Yass over the weekend.
The paramedics will be based at Yass Ambulance Station and will service the wider Southern Tablelands, delivering emergency and out-of-hospital care.
NSW Health Minister Ryan Park said the additional staff would support frontline services.
