Local member still has questions about airport infrastructure
Member for Wollondilly Judy Hannan says that although the brand new Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) has already seen its first test flights, there are still some infrastructure issues that she feels still need to be addressed first.
Member for Wollondilly Judy Hannan says that although the brand new Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) has already seen its first test flights, there are still some infrastructure issues that she feels need to be addressed first.
"While we see the first test flights, we still don't have a number of things answered on the Western Sydney Airport,” Ms. Hannan said.
“We need an answer on granny flats, banned from construction due to a 30km buffer, which is just silly. My Bill I’m putting forward will fix the situation, and I am looking forward to debating it in Parliament.
“We also need public transport access with actual trains and track, not just land acquisition. The Federal Government needs to start giving benefits to our area as the airport develops."
