Vibesfest is coming to Belmore Park this Saturday 21 February from 12.00pm to 9.00pm, delivering a full day of live music, great food and family-friendly fun in the heart of Goulburn.
Live music kicks off from midday with an exciting opening from Lilac City Brass and the Victoria Street Band, followed straight after by Vibesfest regulars Midnight Mojo.
The program then rolls on with talented performers from local high schools, including Goulburn High School and Trinity Catholic College - bands such as Copper Sulfate, and Mulwaree High School acts including ‘Chick Flicks,’ alongside a Hume Conservatorium band.
New local band, Dusty Sundays’ will also make their Vibesfest debut as the afternoon builds.
Vibesfest has been part of Goulburn since 2014, and this year marks its 12th year.
“From day one, the idea has been to give young people a chance to play live music in a public space and be part of something bigger,” said Events Team Leader Angela Remington.
“This year we’re taking that further with over eight hours of live music, bringing together local young bands and having the brass bands kick things off. It’s about sharing the stage, activating the park, and creating a festival that’s open, inclusive, and full of energy.”
There will also be a fantastic lineup of food trucks on site throughout the event, serving up a mix of crowd-pleasers and global flavours.
Festivalgoers can indulge in woodfired pizzas, twist chips, gnocchi and gozleme, alongside gourmet burgers, loaded fries, fresh seafood, and fragrant Malaysian and Indian curries, plus sweet treats like ice cream and donuts.
There’ll be something delicious to enjoy all day and well into the evening.
Families can enjoy more kids’ entertainment than ever before, with Belmore Park transformed into a giant activity zone packed full of fun.
A $10 kids’ wristband from 12.00pm to 5.00pm offers amazing value and gives access to face painting, a gaming van, Ninja Warped Wall and Meltdown Ride inflatables, a jumping castle, the Vortex Art Spin Master, and an action-packed foam cannon pit.
Kids can also get creative with a free sound wave art activity.
As the sun sets, the festival will wrap up with a spectacular fire show finale at around 8.30pm, providing a memorable end to a vibrant community celebration.
Vibesfest Goulburn invites the community to come together, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a big day of music, flavour, and community spirit in Belmore Park.
Admission to the event is free.
