We enjoyed a delicious meal today at the Goulburn Soldiers Club where 26 ladies  were present and 6 sent their apology.  Birthdays were celebrated by Kathy Hunt, Kim Tozer, Maureen Long, Michelle Mackie, Robyn Cummins, Barbara Todkill and Nola Berry.

Unfortunately our Guest Speaker today was unable to attend so we had two of our ladies, Lea Laidler and Nola Berry who told us about their early years and why they arrived in Goulburn and they were very well received by our members.

New members Heather Price, Nola Berry and Annette Ashfield were welcomed to our club by President Margaret, who presented them with their members badges.

We welcome them to our Club and I’m sure they’ll enjoy coming to future meetings.

Publishers note. Publisher Paddy Moylan was the guest speaker who was unable to attend. Unfortunately, a prior engagement with The Kings Foundation of Australia ran overtime and he could not attend. Sincere apologies are extended.

The Lucky Programme was won by Margaret Habil and the Lucky Number by Jenni Aubrey. Congratulations to all!
