GALLERY: Band entertains crowd for Tulip Time
Disability service provider Interchange Australia's band 'Higher than High' braved the cold conditions on Tuesday afternoon to perform in front of an enthusiastic crowd. The Southern Wire's ANTONY DUBBER was there to cover the action, and also took some lovely photos of the tulips in bloom in Corbett Gardens as a gallery (see below).
Disability service provider Interchange Australia's band 'Higher than High' braved the cold conditions on Tuesday afternoon to perform in front of an enthusiastic crowd at Corbett Gardens.
They performed classics such as George's Ezra's 'Shotgun', Blue Swede's 'Hooked On a Feeling', The Beatle's 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand', and more.
Although it was only a chilly 12 degrees, the crowd really got into the music and some of them even got up and danced to warm up.
Interchanger CEO Kristel Lee told The Southern Wire she was really impressed with the way the band entertained the crowd.
“The band played so well together,” Ms. Lee said.
“Each band member of 'Higher than High' performs at their very best at every event, which makes the experience enjoyable and entertaining for any age group.
“You look around in the audience, and everyone is tapping their feet, clapping their hands, or dancing. This is what entertainment is, and Higher than High achieve that each time they perform."
The Southern Wire’s Antony Dubber was there to catch the action, taking some photos and also captured a video of the performance.
He also captured the beauty of Tulip Time with some photos of the flowers in Corbett Gardens, which you can view here with the story in a gallery.
