Council planning upgrade of major Goulburn intersection
Goulburn-Mulwaree Council is seeking community feedback on the proposed upgrade of a major intersection.

Goulburn-Mulwaree Council is seeking community feedback on the proposed upgrade of a major intersection.
A design for the proposed works on the corner of Taralga Road and Ross Street is currently on exhibition and open for comment until November 3. Residents can respond to an online survey at https://yoursay.goulburn.nsw.gov.au
A community meeting will also be held as part of the consultation process.
A council spokesperson said the proposed upgrade had been designed in response to identified safety concerns and “increased traffic and pedestrian access needs”.
“The improvements are intended to create a safer and more accessible environment for pedestrians, improve traffic movements through the intersection and provide clearer, more efficient connections for all road users,” the spokesperson said.
The proposed works will include new pedestrian refuges, footpath connections and crossings, traffic calming devices, improved turning movements, upgraded kerbing and medians, new line marking and signage.
Details of the community meeting – including date, time and venue – will be confirmed via email by November 3 for those people who register via the online survey.
