Women who dedicate their time to helping others across the Goulburn electorate are being encouraged to step into the spotlight, with nominations now open for the NSW Government's Hidden Treasures Honour Roll.

The annual program, run through the Rural Women's Network, recognises the volunteer contributions of women and girls living in rural, regional and remote New South Wales.

Member for Goulburn Wendy Tuckerman said the electorate was home to countless women whose efforts often went unrecognised.

"Across our communities, there are women quietly giving their time, skills and leadership to make a real difference," Mrs Tuckerman said.

"Whether they are mentoring young people, supporting sporting clubs, serving on community committees or helping those in need, their contributions deserve recognition."

Mrs Tuckerman said the Hidden Treasures Honour Roll provided an opportunity to thank those women for the lasting impact they have on their communities.

"The Hidden Treasures Honour Roll shines a spotlight on these unsung heroes and provides an opportunity for our community to thank them for the lasting impact they have on the lives of others," she said.

Women are eligible if they generously volunteer their time, skills and leadership to support others and strengthen communities across regional, rural and remote NSW.

Community members are encouraged to nominate women by outlining their volunteer work, achievements and the difference they have made locally.

"Every town has women who work tirelessly behind the scenes to support others and make their communities stronger," Mrs Tuckerman said.

"This is a wonderful opportunity to recognise their efforts and ensure their contributions are celebrated."

Nominations can be submitted through Mrs Tuckerman's electorate office.
