Breaking News - AVO application adjourned
The application for an Apprehended Violence Order against Theo Onisforou has been adjourned this morning at Moss Vale Local Court.

The application for an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) against Theo Onisforou has been adjourned this morning at Moss Vale Local Court.
Mr Onisforou, as reported by The Southern Wire, is facing an application for an AVO by Police in relation to Mayor Jesse Fitzpatrick and GM Lisa Miscamble.
The matter was mentioned in Moss Vale Local Court this morning (14 April). An adjournment application was made by Police for approximately six weeks, which was granted. The Police did not make an application for an interim AVO.
The matter will return to Court on 26 May.
Mr Onisforou told The Southern Wire after the mention that the AVO is an 'attempt to muzzle me from speaking on political matters in circumstances where I have said I am running for council at the next election.'
Onisforou added 'I am grateful to residents who have sent me support and useful background information'.

As this matter is before the Court we will not tolerate any comments that may impact the court proceedings.
