Breaking: Hannan questions Premier over Southern Highlands integrity concerns amid ICAC investigation
Concerns about integrity and the Southern Highlands have reached the floor of NSW Parliament, with Independent Wollondilly MP Judy Hannan questioning Premier Chris Minns about potential conflicts of interest involving individuals named in a major corruption investigation.

Concerns about integrity and the Southern Highlands have reached the floor of NSW Parliament, with Independent Wollondilly MP Judy Hannan questioning Premier Chris Minns about potential conflicts of interest involving individuals named in a major corruption investigation.
During Question Time, Mrs Hannan asked what the NSW Government intended to do about individuals mentioned in the Independent Commission Against Corruption's (ICAC) Operation Rosny investigation who, according to her constituents, have strong connections to the Southern Highlands.
"My question is directed to the Premier," Mrs Hannan said.
She asked how the Government would review potential conflicts, interests and roles to maintain integrity in government, referring to individuals mentioned in the inquiry who her constituents suggested had "strong associations in the Southern Highlands".
Operation Rosny has examined allegations involving political donations, property developers, political Party figures and local government officials.
The inquiry includes allegations involving prohibited political donations and attempts to influence political and government processes.
Responding to Mrs Hannan, Premier Chris Minns acknowledged the investigation and indicated that the Commission's findings and recommendations were expected in the coming months.
He said he did not expect the report to be delivered before Parliament breaks and that responsibility for implementing recommendations would likely fall to the next Parliament.
Mr Minns committed to implementing changes demanded by ICAC if his Government was returned at the March 2027 election.
However, the Premier did not specifically address the concerns raised about individuals with alleged Southern Highlands connections or announce any immediate review of potential conflicts of interest.
There is no suggestion of wrongdoing by anyone named or referenced.
