Updated 3:50 pm, Cr Kent was elected deputy mayor in a contested vote. 2 councillors abstained.
Cr Foley was elected to council in 2024 on the ticket of Jesse Fitzpatrick. The new mayor attracted 19 votes in her own right at the election.
