Some of Australia's best table tennis players will descend on Goulburn this weekend as the city hosts a major stop on the national tour circuit.
The 2026 Table Tennis Australia Tour NSW will be held at Veolia Arena on Saturday and Sunday, bringing together national squad members and emerging players from across the country.
The tournament is the third stop on the four-event national tour series and provides competitors with an opportunity to play in professionally run events modelled on the National Championships.
About 250 competitors and 20 officials are expected to attend, along with family members, coaches and supporters.
Goulburn Mulwaree Council estimates the event will inject almost $350,000 into the local economy through accommodation, dining and visitor spending.
The event will be held at the Goulburn Recreation Area's Veolia Arena, with matches scheduled throughout both days and livestreamed nationally.
The tournament is also a precursor to an even bigger event later this year, with the 2026 Table Tennis Australia National Championships to be held at the same venue from 6 to 11 July.
Council said securing both events reinforced Goulburn's growing reputation as a destination for major sporting competitions and regional events.
Spectators are welcome to attend across the weekend.
