21 charges laid after alleged sexual assault of teenage girl
Three 17-year-old boys have been charged with a combined 21 offences following an investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl.

Three 17-year-old boys have been charged with a combined 21 offences following an investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl.
Police allege a 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by three teenage boys at a home in the Macarthur on Saturday, 15 August.
Officers from Camden Police Area Command, assisted by The Hume Police District, began investigating the following day after receiving a report of the alleged assault.
A crime scene was established before the investigation was handed to State Crime Command’s Sex Crimes Squad and continued under Strike Force Forinu.
Following investigations, detectives executed search warrants at several homes across the Macarthur region about 7am on Wednesday.
The operation involved the Sex Crimes Squad, South West Metropolitan Region’s Operations Support Group and the Public Order and Riot Squad.
Police said electronic devices and other items were seized for further examination.
Three 17-year-old boys were arrested and taken to Camden Police Station.
One boy was charged with 11 offences, including six counts of aggravated sexual assault – offender in company with others, three counts of sexual intercourse without consent, sexually touching another person without consent and carrying out a sexual act with another without consent.
A second boy was charged with eight offences, including six counts of aggravated sexual assault – offender in company with others, common assault and sexual intercourse without consent.
The third boy was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault – offender in company with others.
All three were refused bail and are due to appear before the children’s court today, Thursday, 20 August.
