Tulip Time Set To Bloom
The Southern Highlands is gearing up for the 64th annual Tulip Time festival, which this year commences from this Friday September 12 through until Monday October 6.
The Tulip Time Festival is held every year in Spring in the Southern Highlands to pay homage to the enigmatic tulip – its range, shape, colour and allure.
The focus of the 2025 Tulip Time will be the spectacular floral display of 80,000 hand-planted tulips and annuals.
Not only will they be on display at Corbett Gardens, but in the gardens of the Visitor Information Centre in Mittagong and Leighton Gardens in the centre of Moss Vale.
This year’s festival will take place from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm each day, with extended hours on Saturdays until 6.00 pm.
Wingecarribee Shire Council and Destination Southern Highlands advises that Bowral’s Corbett Gardens will be closed to the public for the Tulip Time Festival during the event's setup and dismantling from Monday 8 September
Traffic management and changed parking conditions will be in place around Corbett Gardens through until Tuesday 7 October.
Dates of Corbett Gardens closures are as follows:
Monday 8th, Tuesday 9th, Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th September;Tuesday 7th October.
Local residents can attend Tulip Time for free, with no bookings required.
There is a dedicated 'locals' entry via the Merrigang Street gate, alongside the coaches/groups entry.
However, proof of residency must be shown on entry.
Tickets are now on sale and will also be available for purchase both online and at the gate via EFTPOS and credit card. No cash sales.
Please remember to leave your furry friends at home during the festival, as animals are not permitted in Corbett Gardens during the event.
However, Dogs Day Out will return as part of the festival on Monday 29 September and Destination Southern Highlands encourages all visitors to bring along their pets on this very special event day.
For Coach/Group bookings, organised groups of 20 people or more are eligible for discounted tickets (tickets must be purchased in a single transaction) and are provided with a designated entry point to Corbett Gardens close to the drop off/pick up zone for coaches and buses.

YOUTH – $13.50 per person (13-17yrs)
CHILD – Free (under 12 years)

GROUP/COACHES
