Teen charged over alleged armed robbery in Moss Vale
A 15-year-old boy will face court next month after being charged over an alleged armed robbery in Moss Vale.

A 15-year-old boy will face court next month after being charged over an alleged armed robbery in Moss Vale.
Police were called to a tobacconist on Argyle Street at approximately 8.20pm on Friday (October 17) after reports of an armed robbery.
Officers attached to The Hume Police District attended and were told that a group of teenagers allegedly entered the store and threatened a man with a machete before taking items and leaving the area on foot.
Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the incident.
About 2.55am on Saturday (October 18) police were called to the same store following reports of an attempted break-in.
Police attended and arrested a 15-year-old boy at the scene.
He was taken to Southern Highlands Police Station and charged with a number of offences including:
· Robbery armed with offensive weapon;
· Aggravated break and enter dwelling etc in company steal less than or equal to $60,000;
· Possess means of disguising face with intent commit indictable offence;
· Deal with property proceeds of crime under $10,000, and
· Custody of knife in a public place.
The teen was granted conditional bail to appear in a children’s court on Tuesday, November 11.
Inquiries are ongoing to locate four other people believed to have been involved in the alleged arm robbery.
