Street upgrade works being undertaken in Goulburn
Goulburn Mulwaree Council is advising that construction works will commence on Kinghorne Street, Goulburn, between Hoskins Street and Albert Street from today (22 January 2026) with an expected completion date of 12 February (weather permitting).

Goulburn Mulwaree Council is advising that construction works will commence on Kinghorne Street, Goulburn, between Hoskins Street and Albert Street from today (22 January 2026) with an expected completion date of 12 February (weather permitting).
Works will include site preparation, earthworks, drainage, kerb and gutter installation, pavement works, and line marking.Construction will be carried out between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.
These upgrades are funded through the Roads to Recovery Program and Goulburn Mulwaree Council.
“Please be advised that Kinghorne Street between Hoskins Street and Albert Street will be closed, with a detour in place,” a Council spokesperson said.
“Please see the detour plan at the last page. Resident and emergency services access will be maintained. There will be an increase in construction traffic and noise during this period, and traffic management measures will be in place.”
