Raptor Squad charge Hells Angel member for allegedly conspiring to commit violent assault

Raptor Squad officers have charged a member of the Hells Angels OMCG for allegedly conspiring to violently assault another man under Strike Force Benson.

Strike Force Benson was established in August 2025 by State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad in response to escalating tensions involving the Hells Angels OMCG.

About 6am on Thursday 8 January, officers executed a search warrant in Goulburn where they arrested a 22-year-old man for unrelated offences.

Detectives seized the man’s phone and, during subsequent forensic analysis, uncovered evidence he had been conspiring with others to plan a violent assault on a 65-year-old man.

It will be alleged that the conversations discussed the means and severity of the assault, as well as the proposed payment for those involved.

About 9.50am yesterday (Wednesday 21 January 2026), police also arrested another 22-year-old man in Goulburn.

He was taken to Goulburn Police Station, where he was charged with knowingly direct activities of criminal group and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity relating to the planned assault.

The man was refused bail to appear in Bail Division Local Court 3 today (Thursday 22 January 2026).
