Goulburn man refused bail over alleged child assault
A Goulburn man is in custody over the alleged assault of a three-week-old child.

A Goulburn man is in custody over the alleged assault of a three-week-old child.
Police arrested the 28-year-old man at home in Goulburn at 9.50pm on Friday night (October 24).
He was taken to Goulburn Police Station and charged with common assault.
He was refused bail and appeared before Parramatta Local Court yesterday (Saturday) where bail was formally refused.
The man will appear before Goulburn Local Court on Tuesday (October 28).
It will be alleged that about 1.30pm last Wednesday (October 22) the man forced a dummy into the child’s mouth before ‘tossing’ the three-week-old across a bed.
Medical attention was immediately sought for the child.
